You can contact our staff to obtain information on any new GASB pronouncements. You can also review a summary of all GASB pronouncements on the GASB website. A link to the GASB website is provided in the Resources section.

GASB Statement No. 49
"Accounting and Financial Reporting for Pollution Remediation Obligations" is effective for financial statement periods beginning after December 15, 2007.

GASB Statement No. 50
"Pension Disclosures" is effective for financial statement periods beginning after June 15, 2007.

GASB Statement No. 51
"Accounting and Reporting for Intangible Assets" is effective for financial statement periods beginning after June 15, 2009.

GASB Statement No. 52
"Land and Other Real Estate Held as Investments by Endowments" is effective for financial statement periods beginning after June 15, 2008.

GASB Statement No. 53
"Accounting and Financial Reporting for Derivative Instruments" is effective for financial statement periods beginning after June 15, 2009.

The Auditor of State of Ohio issued Bulletins 2008-005 and 2008-007 pertaining to the financial reporting of "Bridges on the State Highway System within a Municipal Corporation".
